Google stock tops $600 Mark!!!!!!!

I remember a few years ago when the the Google issued its stock for the first time priced at $85, many analyst were skeptical that the stock was overpriced, flash forward to October 8th, 2007, and Google stock is way larger than the overpriced 85 dollars which many insisted.

The shares surpassed the 600 dollar mark fueled by investor confidence that the Web search leader's advertising technology will capitalize on new areas of the media industry. Google took on a quite a few ventures since issuing it IPO, the company bought popular video sharing network Youtube, it took on Microsoft's MSn, by offering web-based applications, and search giant Yahoo by offering a new form of business advertising.
Google is now larger than another American Icon, Walmart. At 189 billion dollars it is the 11th largest company to list on the S&P 500. The stock is still builing momentum, becuase analyst are now optimistic that the stock will enter the 700 ball park sometime next year.

What is your opinion as to Google's ability to reach $700 by next year? I got linked to you from NewsVisual, and they seem to be one of the 'optimistic' analysts, based on what they came up with on their map of Google's corporate connections (see article: http://www.newsvisual.com/newsvisual/2007/10/google.html ). What's your take with this?

Hello Katherine, Google is one of the best operated comapnies out there, I am optimistic about Google becuase the company still has a lot of untapped opportunities to generate sales. The company will reportedly will enter the mobile phone market as early as next year.
