Al Gore Wins Nobel Peace Prize

The International Panel on Climate, (The IPCC) and former U.S Vice president Al Gore are the recipients of the 2007 Nobel Peace prize today. The IPCC and Gore share the prize for building awareness on climate change and how it is important to the world we live in.

Many people were hoping Gore would join the Presidential Campaign, which is still resisting. Earlier this year Gore won an award from the Academy of motion pictures and television for his depication of man-made climate change in his film the "Invisible truth", and now he is recognized on an international stage for his work, so do you think he should jump in the race for president at this stage of the game?

The IPCC and Gore will split the $1.5 million that goes along with the honor. The award ceremony will be held Dec. 10 in Oslo, Norway.
