Whether the Us markets which recovered last week then fell flat towards the end of the week, would continue on Monday when the markets open will depend on the Federal Reserve. The federal reserve is expected to meet on to meet on Tuesday, March 20, and Wednesday, March 21st.

The central had reached a consensus weeks ago to leave the interest rate at 5.25 percent for the duration of the year but that was before the Sub-prime market mess that caused a Stock market mess increased fears that the weakness of housing, and putting more restrictions of gaining credit would eventually hurt the economy and could lead to recession.
